Vaccines to Prevent and Treat cancer – Monday, June 24th at 6pm, The Royal Society, Edinburgh
Professor Ian Frazer (Director of Research, Translational Research Institute, Brisbane) will discuss how knowledge about viral infections has been used to develop vaccines for the prevention of cervical cancer and how they have been shown to be effective. Future challenges including action in the developing world will also be discussed.
