Each year NCRI host the UK’s largest cancer conference to bring together the brightest scientific and medical minds to advance cancer research in the UK. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the difficult decision to postpone all NCRI face-to-face events, including the annual Conference was made. In its place, NCRI decided to bring to you the ‘NCRI Festival’ from 8-12 November 2021. Abstract submission is open until 13 June and you can secure your place at the earlybird rate until 30 June.

Eating well after cancer
23 June 2021
After cancer, some people may feel anxious about food and eating – especially if they’ve had to follow special diets during treatment. In addition, specific cancer treatments can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so some people may benefit from adopting ‘heart healthy’ diets following cancer treatment. There is also emerging research that following a healthy diet may reduce the risk of cancer recurrence. This webinar will explore the various aspects of eating well after cancer.
